Community Involvement
N1 Discovery (N1D) was founded with a strong commitment to company stewardship and its employees. We believe in giving back to our community through children’s charities. We currently support the FAR Therapeutic Arts and Recreation, The Salvation Army (TSA) Outdoors, and the Last Message Recovery service.
FAR promotes understanding and education to children and adults with special needs through therapeutic opportunities in the arts, recreation, and leisure.
Founded in 1951, FAR is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that uses creative arts and recreation as therapeutic tools. It develops the potential of people with special needs and individuals as teammates, family, and members of the greater community. N1D recognizes the importance of FAR’s work and mission and its tremendous impact on the community. Their holiday fundraiser is a highlight of N1D’s annual calendar. Learn more about FAR’s work at www.far-therapy.org.
The Salvation Army (TSA) Outdoors provides opportunities for kids of all ages to learn new skills, explore the outdoors, and experience exciting adventures. TSA aims to enhance programs, equip leaders, and engage friends. TSA’s initiative comes alive through existing Character Building, Community Center, Day Camp, and Summer Camp programs. Leaders always seek ideas, experiences, and materials that youth will love.
Science-based, conservation educational curricula, like Growing Up Wild and Project Learning Tree, provide hundreds of tried and tested ideas that engage youth. N1D participates in TSA Outdoors’ events, where team members learn from those working to improve children’s access to awesome outdoor activities. Find out more about TSA Outdoors at www.centralyouthnetwork.com/tsa-outdoors.
The loss of a child is one of the most traumatic events for a family. And when a child commits suicide, many questions are left unanswered. Technology and mobile devices are a part of our children’s lives, but many parents don’t have the capability to access them.
N1D’s Last Message Recovery service helps parents recover emails, text messages, and other information. While improving security makes recovering data from locked devices difficult, our forensic capabilities and tools are becoming even more sophisticated, too.
N1D’s Last Message Recovery service is offered at no cost to families who have lost a child, up to age 18, to suicide. To discuss our Last-Message Recovery service, don’t hesitate to contact us for more details.
